Silver Line window warranties have different time frames

for various defects with the longest warranty period for some

defects being covered only for a maximum of 20 years and

only to the original owner

The attached document is the governing warranty document for the original vinyl windows installed here at SATH. Anderson sold their vinyl windows business, along with the warranty responsibility, to Ply-Gem in 2018.  Therefore, owners are instructed to contact Ply-Gem at 844-332-8288. Alternatively, Ply-Gem has a convenient web form at Warranty Request | Ply Gem to submit a warranty claim.

 

Ply-Gem will require information from the sticker on the affected window (many of which have disappeared). It can usually be found somewhere on the upper window frame.

 

Also, the Anderson warranty has different time frames for various defects, but glass defects are under warranty to the original owner only for 20 years after purchase.
